The Six Interlocking Techniques of Aroma Freedom
The Aroma Freedom Technique is a step by step process for identifying and releasing negative thoughts, feelings and memories that interfere with reaching goals and dreams. It is meant to be used to set a person’s emotional energy flowing in a positive direction towards growth and expansion rather than contracting in fear, doubt and paralysis. It uses Young Living Essential Oils to trigger permanent shifts in how you view yourself and the world.
The Memory Resolution Technique (TMRT) is another technique using Young Living Essential Oils that can be used to help you release a recurring memory, episode or encounter that you can’t seem to feel better about. This technique can be used prior to an Aroma Freedom session if there is an upsetting memory that is not allowing you to set a goal or intention. Or, it may emerge spontaneously during an Aroma Freedom session. It may be a recent interaction or a long standing recurring memory.
The Aroma Reset Technique is a modification of the TMRT. This simple process is used to quickly reset your mood and emotions, giving you clarity, calm and focus in any given moment or situation. It helps you release the negative thoughts and feelings they have about a stressful situation. By focusing on your reactions and smelling specific essential oils, you “reset” your brain to return to feelings of peace and wholeness, allowing you to gain clarity on your next step.
The Aroma Boost Technique is a modification of the Aroma Reset. It consists of usually two Aroma Resets followed by a specific kind of affirmation. The new affirmation connects the next action step needed to progress the situation, the positive feeling you feel when you picture taking that action, and where you feel it in your body. It is designed to move us powerfully into positive action.
The Aroma Clear Technique is another modification of the Aroma Reset. It consists of an Aroma Reset but instead of breathing the oils into the current situation, we have the client connect with the feeling and drift back to an earlier time when they felt the same way. This often can bring up the deeper source of where the distress is coming from.
The Aroma Wisdom Technique is a variation of TMRT. But, rather than focusing on a distressing memory from the past, we focus on a distressing image of the future. This could either be a “doomsday scenario” of the world, or it could simply be a worry about something such as a child or personal finances. In either case, the image is processed just as a memory would be with TMRT until it is no longer distressing.
